| The first surgery is over and went very well. Click here to see the before and after pictures. The first surgery was to reconstruct the ear. The second surgery is to actually remove the Neurofibromatosis. The second surgery was done on March 20, 2007. The surgery went very well. Unfortunately, she's not done with surgeries but the rest of it should be reconstructive surgery. So we still need your donations. | |

Jessica is a 13 year old 8th grader at Grant Middle School. She has one younger brother, several aunts, uncles and cousins. She has received perfect attendance and merit awards at school. She plays soccer and cross country. She has been in Girl scouts and has participated in Hoops for Heart. She is a quiet, caring, giving girl. She was born with Neurofibromatosis type 1. It has caused hearing loss, ear and chin deformity and other medical issues. She will need 2 to 3 surgeries to correct everything. The first surgery being scheduled for November 20th, 2006 in New York City. |
